THIS IS THE PLACE

This is the place where the sky meets the earth, and its borders fade away into the distant horizon. Where dreams get wings to fly high and they feel like reaching the beautiful blue sky. In this place, time stands still and is easy to forget about everything, about the space, even about oneself; especially when observing the immensity and the calm of its still waters and their light waves making gentle ripples across the ocean. This is the place where you walk a long path as wonderful and full of life as the same final destination at the other end of the road; where one can just pretend to study because the imposing nature reminds you that she is more attractive than anything else and, that, sometimes  it is necessary to observe her carefully. This is the place where mornings shine because the sun embellishes its rays with mascara and the sunsets take pinkish tones because of the blush of its cheeks. It’s the place where mosquitoes charge an admission fee and a payment before leaving; a payment one would wish to pay with credit card, but that is happily paid because you know the view is totally worth it. It's a magical place where hope, a hope that no one knew lost, is recovered; where one can restore the calm that is inevitable lost when your psychotherapist announces termination against your own will because she needs to search for new horizons and also, customers who pay on time (just kidding N. Fleitas, you rock!). This is the place where the universe and Deepak Chopra’s voice invite you to meditate and they both conspire to make you feel profoundly at peace. It's the place where prayers take shortcuts to reach its Listener; where one finds God without really mean it.
